CHANGES, CONTRACTS, WORKING FROM HOME, A-STORE

Today we have made an agreement with the company about changes in the clauses in the contracts in the A-Store project for the people working from home. With the changes the clauses will, according to our opinion, be less abusive, the erroneous are deleted. The calculations of the additional hours will be corrected so they are calculated according to the time people work part time and not including the time where they work full time.

The changes will be effective in the new contracts.

Have you calculated your working hours for 2015?

Did you take out all your Holidays in 2015?

If not, you probably do have extra hours that you don't know about.

From HR we have been informed that they don’t consider it as their problem if the workers don’t take their holidays and therefore are working to many hours during the year. Their answer is that they don’t hire children. But a huge amount of workers in the company are being denied their holiday request and after the year ends they cancel the days not taken, all according to the Spanish labor law.

When they do this you have been working more days than your colleague that had the opportunity to take them. You might end up with more hours worked that our collective agreement state as maximum per year.

Maximum hours for 2015 is 1764 for full timers and for the whole year.

If you have any doubts you are welcome to contact us and we will explain you how to calculate it.
